Thomas Walker is an innovator and change agent who is leveraging AI to transform the way consumer research and insights are generated, enhancing the customer experience and driving impactful change across eBay. Over the past several years, his leadership in managing eBay’s foundational global consumer insights programs and translating insights into action has provided a critical competitive edge for the company. Prior to joining eBay, Thomas held senior marketing research roles at iconic brands such as The Coca-Cola Company, Microsoft, and IBM, where he honed his expertise in strategic market research and global market strategy. At eBay, his application of advanced statistical and multivariate techniques is supporting the company’s strategic priorities and benefiting multiple groups. Thomas holds degrees from Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia and California Polytechnic State University. He resides in the San Francisco Bay area with his wife Trisha, to whom he has been married for 30 years, and their three children.
